About
Elitsa Marielle is a French-Bulgarian film director. She works as a director and cinematographer in London. She is currently completing her Masters at the London Film School and will graduate in January. Elitsa has worked on around 30 short fiction films, which has given her a strong practical grounding and leadership in teamwork. She is now starting her freelance career as a Director/DoP on music videos and fictions.
Her films often deal with themes of minorities and characters on the fringes of society, in a constant search for a different vision, on the edge of possibility. Elitsa always seeks to create a new dialogue through the theme of her films, to offer alternative views in the hope of continuing to change current stereotypes, while maintaining a gentle and hopeful perspective. She has just returned from shooting in India and Amsterdam and is currently working on her graduation film on a very personal subject.
